As a Phillips 66 US Marketing University New Hire you will gain knowledge of Phillips 66 value chain including refining, midstream, commercial, and marketing through multiple roles within various functions of the US Marketing business.
Projects will be focused around optimizing our daily operations that align with US Marketing’s strategic priorities
Utilize business management tools to optimize and analyze market intelligence to identify growth opportunities for Phillips 66

New hires will go through KATALYST , the premier energy commodity Supply & Trading development program for market-savvy university hires. KATALYST associates will experience a dynamic, 90-day immersion to the energy value chain. The KATALYST program is built on the principle that Knowledge combined with Application leads to career Transformation. The KATALYST curriculum focuses on our key businesses and markets, and includes:
Discussions and presentations with subject matter experts
Focused analysis assignments
Networking opportunities with key management throughout the company
Presentation opportunities to business leaders
Trading, Logistics, and Marketing simulations
Upon completion of the 90-day immersion, the KATALYST associate is placed in the first of three rotational assignments in the Marketing Early Career Development Program. Rotations are approximately 18 to 24 months each and are driven by business needs and individual performance. New Hires may work in the following areas during their time in the program:

Requirements for a Phillips 66 University New Hire:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering
Graduating in Winter 2019 or Spring/Summer 2020
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Previous internship or co-op participant in related industry
Previous internship with Phillips 66
Phillips 66 SHIELD Scholar recipient
Willing to work in any of our operating locations
