The Cybersecurity Analyst coordinates and executes security measures to protect computer networks and systems for Phillips 66. The responsibilities are continually expand as the threats against the company increase in severity, frequency, and potential impact. The Cybersecurity Analyst will maintain enterprise-wide integrity and security of company data and resources, support cybersecurity initiatives through both predictive and reactive analysis, coordinate resources during incident response activities, and drive incidents toward timely and effective outcomes that maintain business operations. They will employ advanced forensic tools and techniques and will be challenged to continually raise the bar for protecting Phillips 66. Conduct or facilitate threat modeling/analysis of services and applications that tie to the risk and data associated with the service or application.
Leverage DevSecOps principles, providing security awareness, and actively engage in innovation lifecycle and incubate new cybersecurity solutions.
Build end-to-end solutions to solve high value business needs in a sustainable, innovative manner.
Engage in constant process improvement, always looking for opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce failures.
Requirements for a Phillips 66 Cybersecurity Analyst University New Hire:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field of study
Graduating in Winter 2019 or Spring/Summer 2020
Ability to travel up to 20%
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Previous internship or co-op participant in related industry
Previous internship with Phillips 66
Phillips 66 SHIELD Scholar recipient
Willing to work in any of our operating locations
2 or more years of experience in cyber role in the Oil & Gas Industry
Must be able to understand the diverse business requirements and translate those requirements into applicable solutions.
Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences.
Understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals in information protection, firewall & perimeter security, networking, and cloud architecture.
Proficiency in programming and familiarity with Agile Development
Ability to objectively analyze complex technical operations situations
