Learning and Development

The Phillips 66 Information Technology (IT) new hire program, Experience66, is designed to provide you with a solid foundation of our culture, values, and IT organization. The program is fast-paced with content including: presentations from experts, training, visits to company assets, team building events and the past, present and future strategy of the company. You will get the opportunity to build networks, have assigned mentors and gain an in-depth understanding of our value chain. You also learn about how IT provides value, operational excellence and security to the business in alignment with Phillips 66’s goals and vision.

To keep up with the fast pace of change in today’s technology environment, Phillips 66 has created a Digital University that provides the latest skills training available to employees throughout their career. Our new hires have full access to a variety of online and hands-on training.

Phillips 66’s IT Student Connection (ITSC) is a four-day IT recruiting event where exceptional students convene in Bartlesville to experience life at Phillips 66.

The goal of ITSC is to provide high potential new hire and intern candidates from a variety of universities the opportunity to learn about our company’s culture, values, and IT organization. Throughout the week, you will hear from a diverse group of employees and leaders, learning about the many opportunities for IT professionals at this great company.   • Site reliability engineering encompasses daily operations of infrastructure solutions. Team members continuously apply software engineering concepts to manage IT infrastructure & operations solutions to improve (and automate) availability, performance, security, and maintainability of solutions.
  • Analytics professionals acquire, manage, prepare and use data, mathematics/statistics/machine skills and domain knowledge to identify, analyze, and solve business problems and generate insights.
  • Software engineering involves code development in support of custom solution requirements. Team members gain expertise in commercial off the shelf software (including SaaS) and have programming skills that are more systematic and structured.
  • Cloud engineering includes technical responsibilities in native cloud technologies from infrastructure to software development, configuration, and security. Traditional roles merged to enable full stack engineering and automation.
  • Digital Business Partners are IT Professionals who work closely with leaders as a key partner driving digital enablement and business transformation.
