New Hire Development

Information Technology works to support all Phillips 66 operations, including the maintenance of 18,000 miles of pipelines, maximum utilization of 15 refineries and desktop management for more than 22,000 users.

The Phillips 66 IT new hire program, Experience 66, is designed to give you the tools you need to become a well-balanced professional. Our program begins by giving you a ground-level understanding of the oil and gas industry through presentations from experts and visits to refineries, terminals and other company sites. New hires then learn about specific business groups that have open positions in IT and how they support the goals of Phillips 66.

New Hire Development Team

The New Hire Development Team (NHDT) is a core group of IT professionals and supervisors that manages the first 3-5 years of an IT new hires professional career. The NHDT helps place IT new hires into their initial assignments and serves as a career support framework as they monitor new hires progress and give guidance around the Individual Development Plan (IDP) and career goals.
