KATALYST, established by the Global Commercial Organization in 2005, is a premier energy commodity supply and trading development program for market-savvy university hires. KATALYST associates experience a dynamic, 90-day immersion to the Phillips 66 energy value chain followed by two targeted rotations aimed at acquiring knowledge and building relationships that will cultivate a fulfilling career. Associates are also provided networking opportunities, career coaching, and exposure to senior leadership team members.
Upon completion of the 90-day immersion, the KATALYST associates are placed in their first rotational assignments in the Commercial organization in Houston, TX. Assignment duration is approximately 12 to 24 months and provides experiential learning and development opportunities on teams such as Global Trading and Scheduling, Marine, Market Analysis and Surface Transportation and Logistics. Associates gain transferable skills applicable to our Marketing, Lubricants, Specialties, Value Chain and Optimization, and Risk organizations allowing for an exciting career across the Phillips 66 energy value chain.
